How it works: You reserve a Star Ranch Whole Beef Share Beef today with a $500 deposit. We reserve one of our premium old-world Braunvieh steers for your family. We will then contact you about the approximate turnaround for your beef and schedule a time for either a local delivery/meet up or to pick up your order at the ranch. The rest of the payment ($875) is due at the receipt of your beef. Total price all together comes to $1,375.00
We currently have enough beef in stock that turn around is typically 1-4 business days. When inventory is low we will resort back to communicating with our customers on expected harvest dates for approximate turnaround.
A Quarter Beef includes: minimum at least 100 lbs (retail weight) of premium pasture-raised and grain-finished Braunvieh steer
40% Premium single animal sourced ground beef in 1 lb. packs ( may include some hamburger patties depending upon availability)
35% Savory cuts: i.e. .. roasts, stew meat, brisket; cutlets, chili meat, & short ribs, back ribs or tablitas
25% Steaks: Ribeye, New York Strip, Sirloin, Tenderloin Filet, & some of the following 'specialty cut steaks' (dependent on availability): delmonico steak, denver steak, skirt, haangar steak, flank, flat iron, tri-tip.

Freezer Space: This Quarter will require approx. 4 - 5 cubic ft. of freezer space.
Packaging: All cuts are in plastic wrap, vacuum sealed, or in chubs and labeled.
Delivery: In addition to FREE local pickup, we offer low-cost delivery to nearby areas. If you are within 40 miles of the ranch, we'll be in touch after you place your order!
Star Ranch beef is brought to you by a dedicated Mother-Daughter team that has a true passion for ranching. We draw from show-winning experience as well as intimate knowledge of the craft in order to raise the healthiest, highest-quality meat. Our beef comes from Braunvieh or Braunvieh cross cattle. This is an old dual purpose breed originating in Switzerland known for producing quality meat and milk in the high altitudes of the Swiss Alps.
