Star Ranch beef is brought to you by a dedicated Mother-Daughter team that has a true passion for ranching. We draw from show-winning experience as well as intimate knowledge of the craft in order to raise the healthiest, highest-quality meat. Our beef comes from Braunvieh or Braunvieh cross cattle. This is an old dual purpose breed originating in Switzerland known for producing quality meat and milk in the high altitudes of the Swiss Alps.

How it works: You reserve a Star Ranch Whole Beef Share Beef today with a $750 deposit. We reserve one of our premium old-world Braunvieh steers for your family. Our butcher will process your beef and pack it in individual vacuum sealed packages. Once your beef is ready, we will send you an invoice to collect the rest of the payment ($1750). Total of $2500.

A Half Beef includes: approx. 200lbs of premium pasture-raised and grain-finished Braunvieh steer

40% Premium single animal sourced ground beef in 1 lb. packs

35% Savory cuts: roasts, stew meat, brisket, short ribs

25% Steaks: Ribeye, New York Strip, Sirloin, Porterhouse

One or more of the following 'odd cuts', dependent on availability: skirt, flank, flat iron, tri tip

Freezer Space: This half share will require approx. 10 cubic ft. of freezer space.

Packaging: All cuts are vacuum sealed, and labeled. 

Delivery: In addition to FREE local pickup, we offer low-cost delivery to nearby areas. If you are within 40 miles of the ranch, we'll be in touch after you place your order!
